I’ve worked in the motor trade for 15 years and had the privilege of driving some of the most luxurious cars on the market. While there’s no denying the unmatched thrill of a combustion engine, I have to say this EQA is nothing short of amazing.

As a company car driver, one of the key highlights is that this vehicle is still VAT qualifying, so you can enjoy significant tax benefits. That’s a massive win for anyone looking at this from a business perspective.

In terms of comfort and luxury, it has everything you’d want: heated seats, Apple CarPlay, and ambient lighting, to name a few. The cabin feels premium, well-thought-out, and incredibly comfortable—exactly what you’d expect from Mercedes-Benz.

For those of you worried about range anxiety, let me reassure you-this car does exactly what it promises. Yes, a heavy right foot will definitely take a toll on the range, but if you stick to cruise control on the motorway, it’s incredibly efficient. Around town, it’s even better, as the regenerative braking helps maintain the range.

To sum up—would I prefer a combustion engine? Yes, of course! There’s nothing quite like the thrill of a cylinder engine. But would I pay upwards of £400 a month to have it over the electric? Absolutely no way.

In short, the EQA is practical, luxurious, and ideal for both city and motorway driving. For what it offers particularly as a company car, it’s an outstanding choice.
